This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds on our garden design services and products purchased through squablonjriz.world, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and European Union consumer protection regulations.
Design Consultation Services
Our design consultation services are personalized to your specific garden or balcony space. Due to the customized nature of these services:
- Consultations that have been completed are non-refundable
- Scheduled consultations may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled consultation are eligible for a full refund
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled consultation may incur a 25% cancellation fee
Design Packages
For our Balcony Bloom Kit, Garden Design Consultation, and Complete Garden Makeover packages:
- Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase if no work has commenced
- Once design work has begun, partial refunds may be issued based on work completed
- Digital design documents delivered are non-refundable once sent
Physical Products
For gardening products and accessories purchased from Squablonjriz:
Right to Cancel (Distance Selling): Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, if you purchase products online, by phone, or through other distance selling methods, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. This is your statutory right under Irish and EU consumer protection law.
- You must notify us of your cancellation within 14 days of receiving the product
- Products must be returned in original, unused condition with all packaging and tags
- We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item or receiving proof that you have sent it back (whichever is earlier)
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase
- You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise or the product is defective
- If you cancel after the product has been dispatched, you must return the goods at your own expense unless the product is faulty or not as described
Delivery Times: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, products must be delivered on an agreed date or within 30 days of purchase if no specific delivery date was agreed. If we fail to deliver within this timeframe, you may request a new delivery date or cancel the purchase and receive a full refund.
Defective or Damaged Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have legal rights if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. If you receive a defective or damaged product:
- Contact us immediately upon discovery of the defect (you have up to 2 years from purchase to report defects, but earlier notification is recommended)
- Provide photos or detailed description of the damage or defect
- We will arrange for a repair, replacement, or full refund at no additional cost to you
- Return shipping for defective items will be covered by Squablonjriz
- You are entitled to a refund if the defect cannot be repaired or replaced, or if repair/replacement would cause significant inconvenience
These rights are in addition to your 14-day cancellation right and cannot be excluded by contract.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return or refund request:
- Contact our team via email or phone with your order details
- Provide your order number and reason for the return
- Wait for return authorization and instructions before sending items
Exceptions
The following items cannot be returned:
- Live plants (due to perishable nature)
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Items marked as final sale
- Downloadable digital content
